what you've not mentioned... who did the repairs ie LR or the nominated garage for the insurer?

How long ago where the repairs completed?

Who's insurance company paid, yours or the other persons

What I trying to say is if their was an insurance company involved, then it is wise to formally advice them that the vehicle has not been satificatorily repaired, ask for a loan vehicle whilst yours is being investigated and ask for a vehicle accessor to reinspect the vehicle at the repair shop where the car was repaired.

It is not for you to do the investigations, its up to the repairing garage to do the job correctly, they have been paid to Thumbs Up

Wot he said. Thumbs Up

Something not done right in the repair. Should have been done by a LR dealer. Request the insurance company send it to a dealer for diagnosis and repair if it isn't one in the first place.

Hello thanks for the response it was my insurance company who paid, and the work was done by a LR dealer at my insistence as they wanted it to go to a non LR garage. The car is now booked in at another LR dealer I just hope they can find fault then I will get first garage to pay.
The repairs were completed about 2 weeks ago and the cars been back 5 times for them to try and rectify.

I have had DSC problems a couple of times, the first time it was needing a 4-way alignment done after getting loads of suspension components replaced and nobody told me.

The second time it (weirdly) cured itself after a couple of weeks driving with the DSC turned off.

Thread resurrection!!!!!!
I currently have this problem after having lower arms done about six weeks ago. I had it aligned the day after that improved it dramatically as it was way way off. But since then on certain right hand bends my dsc activates.
I have turned it off and all is fine.
I had new bearings and track rod ends last year. Tyres all very good and correct pressure.
I had the alignment checked again today, this time in ttm, all was well.
Steering angle sensor is calibrated.

Anything else??!!!
(It was fine before the arm change)

When the arms were changed did they wait until on the ground before tightening the bolts?

Found the fault

Hello I have since found the problem with my vehicle well three.
1. air suspension compressor on it's last legs under inflating system so during cornering not enough air to fully stabalise car: no warning light
2, collapsed bushes on rear suspension arms, full replacement at JE Engineering. No clunks or groans but visible on inspection.
3 tracking I then had the vehicle tracked with my 20" wheels on big mistake. I have since had to get LR dealer to fit a spare set of 18" wheels as fitted from new. Then tracking was adjusted back to original settings, then 20" wheels refitted tracking checked again and some further adjustment.
Finally I have a car that drives in a straight line and is fully stable during sensible cornering and occasionally road permitting some faster cornering again.

Seems we got it!

There was several corrosion at the ground connection of ESC unit cable which ist fixed by a screw to the body!

Sure also caused due to rermove the plastic cover to change the turbocharger, therefore it seems to be the "red line" after any works in that area (suspenison e.g.)

Nevertheless it´s just poor voltage supply to the control unit, causing these problem.

Also there is such a poor corroded connection at the right front wheel, don´t kwow where it ends, but we fixed it to.

Now ESC works well again Very Happy

Hope that helps all others too!

Cheers
