What are these for
While wiring in some extra power sockets today I found these 2 connectors in the N/S rear compartment. I have a feeling they are for rear aircon but not sure about the other.
Can anyone help?

I can't make out where they are in the picture, but it could be tow bar electrics or maybe PDC module??
I don't think the wiring is in place for the rear air-con unless it is factory-fitted but I could be wrong 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

A bit of a bad picture. It is taken in the wrong profile. The left of the pic is the top and right the bottom. The black connector has 2 very small relay type things in it and the grey connector just has a blank placed into it.HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Ahh...ok.....
I think it's the tow-bar pre-wiring then.
The relay bits are probably fuses but I haven't got a tow-bar so haven't really looked that closely2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

I have a tow bar fitted well the wiring anyway and I didn't fit them when I fitted the rest of the loom. Would the 2 relays be prefitted to the vehicle main loom in preparation. I have rear PDC fitted from the factory as well.
I was tempted to use this connector for another + feed if I needed to, if there is a feed in the connectorHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

I'll have a poke around later and see if I can think of anything else... 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

both connectors are for rear aircon, the two relays behind the grey connector, well one's for the rear wiper - can't remember what the other is for

I'll swap it for that nice Berghaus fleece of yours..... oh, you don't have it any more - and it *might* be a bit on the small side for me, too bad!

I thought it was for the rear aircon. Prob to expensive to retro fit so will tie them up out the way.

Cheers Iain. I can see the connectors but the rest of the wiring looks like spaghetti to me . o how hard to retro fit the aircon. I assume it's all plumbed into the front aircon somehow? Can't be a small compressor there in the inner wing. But what is there? Is it just a blower of sorts?
Just idle curiosity mind. The bits would be mega expensive I expect HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Mark, there's a few bits of my own in there too rear aircon could be retrofitted but would need lots of bits including a new headlining, interior C pillar trim, ducting, NS boot panel, pipework (both hot & cold) and of course the blower module
90BHP, sorry, it wouldn't be the same if it was a replacement wouldn't have the same scent or markings
