Amp pull on cubby cooler?

I'm looking at getting a cubby cooler the one that goes between the seats. Anyone know what kind of amps they pull? I just got one off ebay and I was thinking of wiring it to my 2nd battery on a timer.

The control circuit causes the fridge to switch off when the supply voltage drops below 12.30VDC (from memory) so running it from a second battery won't benefit you unless you bypass that part of the control circuit, fuse rating is 10A so i'm guessing it draws more than 5 amps

Cool thanks for the info. So does it some sort of built in temp controller?

not that i'm aware of, the Peltier effect coolers usually self-regulate as the size is calculated for the volume or surface area to be cooled
