As much as TFC is a top bloke, i cannot see him driving from Derby to Largs just to reset a service indicator after someone else has done the service I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

The instructions are on the forum somewhere - I'm d****d if I can find them again. I printed them too and can't find them either. Haven't yet used them yet so no guarantee they work as other forum members expressed doubts although I think they came from a reputable source. Keep searching!!

They only apply to 08my vehicle and onwardsG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
largsbear, try your local independent LR garage - they will probably charge you about £40 plus to plug in a read fault codes / clear the Service Indicator.Previously:

Don't you need to buy the Autodiagnos box to follow that procedure though? I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

That isn't going to work, it refers to two buttons - which no D3 has

Exactly my point TFC, presumably the buttons are on the Autodiagnos box.
Would be cheaper to get a dealer, or a TFC to service it than buy that kit I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
