Terrain response

Being new to both here and the car, does the the terrain response lock either the centre or rear diff on my 57 plate XS commercial.
Or does it just use the electronics to have the same effect.

It will lock the centre diff as required, you really can't tell unless you have the 4x4 info display. The same applies to the rear diff, if fitted.
