I've just received my new spare wheel protector from Ray for my AdBlue equipped D4
I know that there is a photo here, somewhere, showing how the black plastic mounting "bolts", clips and rubber washers should be fitted, but I haven't been able to find it again. Can anyone help please?2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

Received my protector by return post. Thanks Ray.
Very easy to fit, although a little silicon spray on the rings helped. Took longer to lower the spare wheel than to fit the protector.
Very well made and I would suggest now that it is virtually impossible to steal the spare wheel.
So simple really.
As for Land Rover. Whoever passed the design fit the spare wheel should be .........!
Even a hexegan nut instead of the 'eye' for the jack handle might allow us to lower the wheel without taking everything out of the boot. We could then simply slip a socket and extension down between seats 6 & 7.

Ray - finally fitted mine after I got a full size spare wheel - bought 4 new tyres last week and used the best of the old (3mm tread left) as a spare - tyre fitter very impressed with the protector
