Having had my spare stolen last week my local dealer now informs me that the Landrover supplier of the winch has gone out of busness and there is no immediate prospect of any being available. Does anybody know of a source or, is there a way to repair/replace the cable on the existing winch? Would be most grateful for help. Have the RLD protector ready for next time!Stvmor

How are they holding the spare wheel on in the Discovery 4, RRS etc then ???
Call round a few dealers and see if they can help.

They are back up and running now. The company is AP Driveline in Leamington, they where part of Magal Engineering group, now part of Railcam clutch ltd. I am not sure if they have kept this line or the Renault job which is very similar.

Thanks Macleod, trying your suggestions. Cannot believe that such a small thing can be such a major problem. Tried Dorothy but the WWOTW says no! SteveStvmor
