I'm sorry but I think the baby should be taken away, it is not about wealth it is about intelligence. It is quite evident from their behaviour that they are not going to become adequate parents; it will blight the baby's life and theirs. It probably isn't the PC thing to do; but it will give all 3 the best chance of making something of their lives.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Perhaps this kid is indeed 'unlucky' but what chance does the baby have? Seriously, it still doesn't make it acceptable that you can 'parent' from the age of 13. Every parent has the right to bring up their child but every child also has the right to a decent life; the law is there for a reason. He's barely old enough to have started secondary school but folk are happy that he's responsible and mature enough to bring a child in to this world and to nurse it into a well-rounded person later in life?
Suffice to say he may prove us, including me, totally wrong and I guess we'll just have to wait and see.2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

I'm sure there's more than just me that was never prepared to be a parent when it happened un-planned, I was 32 when I fathered a child, I still think I didnt do the best as work and relationship pressures didnt help and comeing home after 12hr shift really sucked. how on earth is a farther of this age going to cope?? He wont he will just have everything given to him (which they will need) from their parents and social services.
lets hope in a few years we are not looking back at a situation that could have been avoided and lives ruined from stupidity of those involved (the kids, the parents of the kids)
I hope this life(baby) gets a real good start in life!

Some strange family values being taught there.
And family values is the root of this? What have the parents of the 'parents' been up to here? Quite clearly NOT instilling decent values in their offspring Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

And people here wonder why I laugh at them when they ask me if I'd ever move back to England!
Probably the same people who wonder why I (we) don't have kids The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Well apparently, Alfie Patten, the 13 year old father is joining "FATHERS FOR JUSTICE". In an interview he said today, "IT MADE SENSE REALLY, AS I ALREADY HAVE A SPIDERMAN OUTFIT"
What gets me is one of the other supposed fathers was sleeping with her not using contraception - apparently with her parents consent !
just imagine the discussion "is it alright if I ++ag the off your daughter without a condom then"
" yeh just carry carry on"
BREXIT - done properly.

I've just heard that the 13 year old boy has joined 'Fathers For Justice' - When asked why he said "It makes sense as I've got a Spiderman suit already"

Iconix,
If you had read the thread you would realise you were beaten to the punch line two posts earlier? I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
