If the facelift does get desiganted D4 and seeing as Martin has registered disco4.co.uk will this mean we will end up being a split forum...? Maybe the class system will come to disco3 and disco4...? Will those that order a disco and get the new model look down on us lowly D3 owners and consider themselves as part of the uber-class...?
What about events ? D3's only...? D4's only....?
Could this be the end...?
(oh, and if anyone does end up with a D4 and find the accessories don't fit please keep me in mind for an expo rack....)The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Easy answer...........
Just buy a FFRR and look down on D3s and D4s! 8)
Then we might have a few more people to talk to on FullFatRR.com The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Just had another thought. With the financial crunch there are probably a few RRS butlers looking for gainful empoyment. Do we think that they may find work with these new D4 owners...?The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Assuming D4 is a reality in 2010...
taking a hint from the Fiesta Mk6 post, the D3 and D4 would be 2nd generation Discos, then my suggestion (to Martin) would be to have disco3.co.uk and disco4.co.uk redirect to secondgenerationdisco.co.uk or similar and then we'd all still be one big happy(ish) family - just my twopenneth Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Not going to fit...? I'm having trouble even saying it... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
