Just imagine if you took something as simple as a disposable lighter back 2000 years, you may have been proclaimed the messiah.
I remember when colour tv first entered the UK home. My dad sold his car to buy one and all the kids at school suddenly become my friend so they could come round and watch it. Now the tv is like some babbling old relative sitting in the room with you that you change every now and again when a prettier one comes along
We take too much for granted. Now where's that little black box gone that open's the car, starts the SATNAV and puts the lights on when I press a button.... I can't do without it
