Cost of first service
Just rang around for some prices as mine is due its first service shortly, and Hereford Landrover have a special offer that if you have your service before the end of Feb they will knock the vat off. Total cost £166 and they offered me a courtesy car. Very pleased with that price.I can resist everything except TEMPTATION

A good ploy to get the services done before they have a glut of new cars and the associated issues sorted out after March 1st. Keeps everyone happy.

Ah Sonic3D I'll catch up with you on the Salisbury Weekend methinks! As a matter of interest did you also buy your D3 from them and if so did you get a good discount because I may well be in the market for a replacement provided the price is right 2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Even at £166 plus VAT it is still the cheapest price, good on them for having a decent attitude to their customers.
My lovely dealer is just slightly dearer at £539
Can someone move this thread to the new dealer feedback forum?

It would be worth you travelling to some of the cheaper ones at that price.2004 Discovery 3 - gone

You could make the day of it, treat the family and still have loads of change out of the £373 difference

mine was around this price inc VAT and is standard LR service cost. I think many dealers take the unused waters from yer and charge for 'extras'

Sat in Guy Salmon Stockport this morning waiting to book my 10 day old D3 in to have it checked out (see Watching The Clock thread) spotted their service price board - £360 for my TDV6 Auto I'm hoping that includes VAT Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
