First service - what should I get checked?

Guys

Car's nearly a year old and I've been told by it that it wants a service in about three weeks. I wanted to know if there's anyhting I shoudl get them to check, over and above the following:-

    Low Coolant Warning
Funny clicking from passenger door when opening
Sat Nav screen doesn't always dim at night
Headlight sesnors put lights on in the daytime
    Intermittent PDC system
On start up, intermittent over-run of starter motor that causes abit of a graunching sound
    "Wooden dash" falling off!

Anything I've missed? What should I expect to pay for the service?

Does anyone have an opinion on Stratstone Land Rover High Wycombe or Chipperfield Land Rover, Kings Langley? I bought the car when Ilived in London and don't therefore have any experience of the local dealers where I now live.

Thanks in advance.....

Have them check tire wear on the inside edge. Some dealears will replace tires on a prorated and do the alingment for free. You my have to make a stink but many LR3s have this problem.

Also if you haven't go into off road height. and then drive normally this may produce a suspension fault.

Has your PDC always been intermittant? If so, the PDC control unit needs to recieve a "vehicle stationary" signal after handbrake released before PDC will operate, if vehicle moved quickly after reverse selected, PDC will some times not engage. There is a modified ECU which does not need to recieve this signal.

My Starter was over running as well and then last week it clicked and wouldn't start, after a couple of attempts it was ok but I went to the dealer and they had it in two days later and fitted a new one last week and this one doesn't seem to overrun, mind you I had a funny noise today and popped up the dealers on the way home and its going in next week for a new power steering pump, they reckon I'm trying to get a new car out of them bit by bit.

Vectis & Phil B,
There is a software fix for Starter motor re-engaging
TSB LA303-006
"A customer may report a concern of a noise from the starter motor during engine cranking.

Cause: A software calibration error is not detecting that the engine has started when cranking and attempts to re-engage the starter motor.
Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Service Procedure detailed in this bulletin."
