Then again I may just have been shafted by the guy that fitted them (Ian Nash of Redline Engineering). The c*nt charged me 500€ to fit!
Yes you probably were (ask RLD ) - although the fitting method and the need to enable the driving lights in the CCF is correct. Price is way more than I or even a UK dealer would charge

I was quoted 5 hrs to fit them by dealers = £500 labour.

What's wrong with doing it the old fashioned way with a relay off the halogens? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Nothing - you still have to get the bumper off if you want to mount them on it - someone else on here has managed to mount his on the grill - I'm gonna keep my lights off the current D3 and possibly mount them that (nondamaging) way on the new oneSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
Hi, i've now got my car back, they are the spots off the D2 so now my question is will they fit the bumper mounting kit for the D3 if I just intend to wire them into main beam the old fashioned way?
If not, does anyone know who fitted them to the grille and how?
I NEED to get these on my car as they are the last on the list of must haves for me.If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!
