Write to your dealer principal and demand he support your case - for LR to fix the problems. Repeat business is about the only weapon us consumers have.

Got a email from the dealer yesterday, " Just a quick email to let you know that i have not forgotten about you,
As you were aware from previous conversations, the techs were in the process of removing and refitting driveshafts to the vehicle in order to narrow down the possibilities of faulty parts. The techs got to a point of no success and looked upon Landrover in Sydney for assistance, which they were able to get hold of successfully this afternoon.
As soon as Peter finishes the job he is on, I will get him to either give you a call, or I will email you in better detail the current situation with your vehicle. I do apologise for the delays and hope to come to a resolution for you very soon.
I am still waiting for the call. Called landrover Australia today and spoke to a nice guy and he gave me a reference number and was surprised that we havent been offered a loan car as it has now been three weeks since the disco was taken away.

Just recieved a hire car courtesy of landrover Australia ( a statesman) for the next seven days. Apparently Landrover Australia are also involved in the diagnosis of the discos issues and are regularly comunicating with the dealer. THATS ALL I WANTED TO HAPPEN ORIGINALLY.
