Drivers seat - can you modify the runners?

Hi

I am very long legged and am finding that after about 2000 miles in my new HSE that I am finding the seating position uncomfortable due , I think, to the seat not going back far enough. I feel like I've got a twisted ankle from it at the moment. My thighs don't touch the front of the seat very well.

I reckon if the seat could be made to go back another three inches or so then it may be much more pleasant to drive (I was spoilt with a Volvo V70 before that was so comfy). Do you know if this could be done somehow? I am wondering if a disabled conversion specialist might be able to do it or is this something a willing main dealer could do?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Paul

I'm 6'5", and to get extra room , I've removed the foot rest to the left of the clutch. I guess its there on the auto's too, and this means i can "stretch" out a bit.

Funnily enough, just about to do that - just need to find the socket set as I think it is a couple of sockets to remove?

That solves one leg!!
