Well i tried the rest now back in the best!
Hi all, i had an HSE in Bonatti bought in 2005 and sold late last year. blooming loved her to bits but thought i would try and be sensible for a while. FF rang rover on LPG, Passat estat and then the 130 i have in the classifieds. nothing lives up to a Disco 3 so this afternoon i placed a deposit on a 55 plate HSE in Tonga and pick her up in a weeks time.
Very very excited to be back in the finest most capable vehicle on the road.
Welcome back!! As you slide down the banister of life
may no splinters point your way

Thanks for the welcome backs guys. Next friday seems so far away at the moment.
They offered me a fair price for my 130. I was going to be happy in any air sprung, auto disco but to get an HSE is top notch.
It has side runners on. if i take them off am i going to be left with holes where the brackets go?

Basically, yes ... 3 slots through the plastic sills each side
You can get a pair of new sills (simple to fit) for about £110 ISTR or you can just stick duct tape over the slots if you're mean

Thanks all, im very happy with it. Oh and as for the pavement, the other people in the close have told me to park there. sometimes its a muddy 130 or a unimog so i keep it/ them out of the way as much as possible. makes live easier.
