IMHO This is more what a D3 should look like - scotty and trailer optional
The best looking D3's can be found in the disco3.co.uk calendar....... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I think actually, to show the complete versatility of the vehicle, that if you took this into a city at night, you could get some great modern image shots that would look really good on the calendar.
As I said before, not my style, but I can see the attraction of doing this for some people.
I used to have a 'racer' push bike, but I never entered any races...... same thing here.
It's still a D3 and as the majority of the population don't use their 4x4's to cover anything more than the kerb, then we shouldn't knock (too much ) someone who is really looking after his Disco.
Besides, when he comes to sell, it will be a pristine version that someone can then take off road
Serious about the night time/lights/rainy reflections/city mood photo of it though for the calendar Bodsys Brake Bible

WTF is an LR3 ?
Not my cup of tea, too much painted plastic and not enough things to break up the slab sides of the D3. Wheels look a bitch to clean And must make the ride very poor compared to the correct profile.
But if its floating your boat down the High Street... keep smiling. Permagrin takes on many forms.
