Apologies if the question has been asked before but does anyone make a M/T or A/T tyre for the 19" rims? I am considering a few upgrades to the D3 to improve its off-road ability and first on the list is tyres. The Pirelli Scorpions fitted are OK but when the mud gets sticky they clog easily and look and perform like slicks! (I don't want to go down the road of a second set of 17" rims)
Also, very tempted to get the G4 spec winch and A-Bar fitted but at around £1200 it's a lot to pay for very occasional use but after nearly getting stuck in the lake district on a green lane recently  I need to be better prepared, any views chaps? 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

The G4-spec tyres are Goodyear Wrangler MTRs fitted to the 19" wheels 8) 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

The Goodyear Wrangler MTR's fit the 19" rims.... at a price 
If you don't want to fit an electric winch, then a Tirfor type hand winch is a good option, together with tree strops, recovery strops, shackles etc. all rated for the expected load of course  a good rope is also handy - not a KERR type though unless you know the risks and plan on recovering others with it.
The G4 sump guard is also a worthwhile investment

Found a supplier who reckons I can have 4 for £700 which is bloomin steep, will they be any good on wet/dry tarmac I wonder or will they drone like a knackered wheel bearing? 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Looks the MTR's are a no-no for general use. Another suggestion I have received is to fit 255/55/18 General Grabber AT2's to a set of 18" rims, only issue being the tyre is slightly smaller than the standard 60 profile which will cause the speedo to over read slightly, not sure if I am comfortable with this  2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
