Reversing cam

Idea What if I get a reversing cam from LR for a range rover, and plug it into the back of the touch screen in discovery 3 will it work Question (plug and play). You guys know more about how the car works more then me, so I may be wrong Sad I could do with a rear cam for my caravan and would be great to see whats behind it on the touch screen when reversing.

I've thought the same.

And for some fun, it would be great to get hold of the 'Venture Cam' from the RRs.

As I posted before, I don't know how to tell the system to behave like the Range Rover. It's not "plug and play" -- sorry. It's just an analog video port. All you can do is view it in test/debug mode.

camera

Hello guys,
I have an after market camera system fitted to my D3.
It has come from my D2 after several years good service there.
The system is basically designed for motor homes or trucks.
There is a 12 volt control box which I have put under the drivers seat.
I have a camera on the back to aid trailer hitching & recovery when off road and one on the ARB winch bumper to view the winch when self recovering.
There is an additional port for a camera on a trailer.
The screen is half of the rear view mirror which is included with in the kit.
When I first got it, I thought it was a bit of a gadget, but now I would not be without it.
It came from David Bowyer @ Goodwinch. If any one enquires with Goodwinch on the system , mention my name.
Regards
Nick Jennings
