SE Auto's listed in the drop down but SE Manual isn't.
In any event, nothing would make me give my low mileage SE Manual away! It's with me for the duration.

Bought my 54 plate TDV6 S 18 mths ago.
SWMBO loves it, the dog loves it, I love it, its covered in , its bumped bashed and bruised.
Its probably worth 10p but if you want to part me with my Disco 3 youd better have a big ol stick.
Its flaming brilliant and it will have to last for another 3 years cos of the loan.
its on 63k, im doing 22k per year so when its my 130k or so and its mine!!!!haaha.
Could be dead by then or that communist Brown will have shot all of us, fat, smoking 4 x 4 owners!!!
Long live the D3 and Land Rover!!! All things shipping, storage, transport. UK and worldwide.

in the end its imaterial what it cost and what its worth now as a px..(if u r not trading in!!!)...we have three more years before ours is due to be changed . by then we will have hopefully had 36 more months of wonderfull driving pleasure together with the famous "D3 permagrin" .... by then maybe the financial/jobs world will have got back into a more sensible level playing field again!!
who can guess...just enjoy your D3..while its yours!

If you have finance on the car and the car is the security ie Hire Purchase
As long as you have paid 50% of the purchase price (not the finance price) then you can just hand the car back.
This is what I understand - so I would do a search or talk to CAB it could be a way out of negative equity. 15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver
05 2.7TDV6 S AUTO Silver - Retro-fitted Leather.

ALTERNATIVES...............No alternatives for off-road capability.
If you want Surrey plush, go for a Range Rover. If you want Manchester bling it's the Range Rover Sport. But if it's a seven-seat, go anywhere 4x4, it's time to Disco.

true....unless you already own one. The cost to change is significantly worse for me than when I bought mine 2 years ago. So as far as I can workout the dealer gets more money out of me today than he woud have done 2 years ago for a similar transaction.
As you say why change......other than because I fancy a different colour
end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Just out of interest I put in the details of my car and it returned a private sale value (the maximum) of 22k. For me, this is very good news because I have it on lease at just under £800 per month including full maintainance, tax etc. The depreciation from its original 44k (£917 per month) means I have saved at least £140 per month on the deal
Sorry boys and girls but there has to be some good for someone doesn't there?
Martin W 07MY TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey + Alpaca
No ugly kid glass!
Side steps (one with dent!)
BIG GRIN (although turned down at the edges)
Extremely empty wallet

The 50% and give it back only applies if the HP agreement is CCA regulated - which if memory serves is a max value of £25K financed asset - which will negate a lot a agreements on this site

Damn right there are some bargains to be had at the monent...ask me how i know
Dont think the stealers have woken up yet to the fact that cars are selling privately for about 6k less than they are asking. I know they offer warranty and have a % to make but come on guys be realistic

Any finance agreement taken out after April 2008 (in an individuals name) will be covered by CCA regulations & the 25k limit is removed.
Unfortunately if the amount you financed was over 25k prior to April 2008 you have no automatic rights to hand the car back at 50% of the total amount payable.
Of course if you have a GFV you are covered anyway (subject to mileage & wear & tear obviously)
