From the reports (thanks for the posts on this forum) I've seen most complaints are received shortly after 11am and 11pm.

This is because the site goes down at 11am UK time and 11pm UK time when the site databases are being backed up.

Unfortunately this is an intensive process for the database server, and as such it causes connection problems for the site.

I am looking into ways to reduce the load on the server (with help from Slimer). However the current loss of connection will remain until the new process is in place, as I cannot afford to lose data if there is a database crash. I am also looking into moving the backup times to be less inconvenient. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
