Genuine DENSO DVD computer plus touch screen install in a D3

Can it be done? Built in the Genuine LR navigation set into a non-satnav LR3?

I mean, do I need to alter anything? Has anyone done it already? Or am I crazy to think about this?

I already have the DVD computer from Denso, the screen is also not that hard to get but the cables should be bought from the dealer I guess???

Who has input?

Thanks guys.

Hi Goswin,

Great to meet you here,
Your valveblock diafragm valve is still working great on the P38.

dvd srceen can not be retrofitted.
Communication can not be set up between screen and existing car systems.
There are a few electronics experts on this forum, but they have not been succesfull on this item.
Systems are a lot more complex than on P38.

If you do a search you will find lost on this item.

Good to hear that Hans!

Mmmm, the DVD screen cannot be retrofitted? That is a shame... What if I only need it for navigation? that should be possible, is it not?

I'll give it a try and search the forums for all available info.

Thanks and regards from the Netherlands,
Goswin.

This might be an alternative to fill the gap in your dash.

With some surgery, might give an impressive result.

OEM nav. gets lots of info from the cars other system to work.
Speed, illumination, even fuel level in tank...

Has anyone on here got experience with the Mio C728? I reckon if it can take a reversing camera it is exactly what I am looking for to fill the gap in the dash.
