Software Updates ?

Having to take the car in next week for replacement compressor & seat base. The car is an early build [nov 2004]. Should i be asking the dealer to carry out any software updates while its in there?
Does anyone have any details on these updates
Thanks

yosser395, is the seat base because of the "sinking seat" issue ? and if so did you have any trouble arguing the case ?
..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

all new seat bases sourced from caterpiller from december on will be of the new modified spec,if you describe your problem to the dealer you should have no problem in getting a replacement fitted

Yes, the seat base is being replaced due to the deflating problem.
I had no problem with the dealer ordering a new one --- although it has taken them over a month to get the part . Rolling Eyes
