Side rubbing strips
just bought a set from LR centre in Speke, Liverpool.
They still have one set left (with a plastic 'chrome' insert) at £117 - someone might be interested as they appear to have been discontinued.
Fitting instructions say to install them between 20 and 30 degrees C - some chance in this weather!!!

Chris Tyler had some great instructions on how to fit them. Basically, get a hairdryer on the panel (not too close) to heat up the door area, keep the strips either in the car with the heater on, or in the house until the last posisble minute, make sure you've got the car marked up properly & then stick onto the car. They helped him remove a considerable dent when in Croisier at the beginning of the year. Amazing mystical dent removing properties if they're well applied Bodsys Brake Bible

Or you could just ensure the surface is clean and free of gunk and once marked up just stick them on. I fitted mine of a cold day without the hair dryer or otherwise and there still in place nearly three years later.
Key is to ensure the surface is proper clean and degreased.
