You can save money, since the e-cloth is also a whizz with stainless steel in the house too. I've used one of these for all my kitchen SS appliances and it's fantastic. All you need is warm water-not even soapy!!

However, my problem is dog hair, my pooch malts for England and the rear load area and all orifices in the back, down the backs of the rear seats all have genuine dog hair finish? Any ideas, apart from not putting the "big" pooch in the back?

Every time I take my car to the dealers, which is more times than I would like at present since my D3 is suffering from electronic gremlins: loss of cruise-control;Sat-Nav going on the blink; Inability to voice tune the radio etc...., they valet my car!!! All I can think is there is some poor apprentice, car valet who dispises seeing my car as they must take loads of dog-hair out each time. At least I dont have to do it so regularly

I have found a product that works on cleaning the black plastic inside the car; it's Meguiar's Natural Shine Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. It costs £6.99 for 473ml (BN you may be able to water it down to reduce cost Laughing ) but it has dried without streaks it reckons with 2 coats it gives a better longer lasting finish, so I'll report back Embarassed

Beat you there Pelyma, I use something you just will not believe works and its really cheap. Very high density foam (stuff they make racing car seats from), soaked in water and it will clean even the external plastic with nothing else Shocked My external plastic went bad and I was about to have it colour coded so my spray shop suggested it. I laughed, but it worked Very Happy

Funny you should ask that question. It is in fact sold (and I am serious) in most DIY stores under one of those annoying TV ads that when you walk by it starts. It costs about £2.99 in B&Q or others, is in a green sleeve (sorry but it is) and is white and hard (don't go there Shocked ). Otherwise any upholsterer would have it at a lot less cost. Convenience however is the DIY.

Failing that for all you comp experts www.jmldirect.com 8) Called Magic Eraser.

Seriously... is this any good for the whole car in combination with our favourite Flash Car Wash ?

And is it in B&Q as the Magic Eraser or some other name ?

It does look like it, (now who's the cheap one) but don't use it on paint as I think it could be a bit abrasive.
