OMG.....I ain't a regular poster but I used to really enjoy this site.....in the last few days / couple of weeks it seems there is more sniping at each other amongst certain members than actually just enjoying the forum.

Do you guys not have enough Censored at work ?? Neutral

Macleod. Maccy. Maccer. Mac. Mush.....

I've met you. I've watched you, your facial expressions, your mannerisms. Listened to your banter. Read your posts. I've been sat here watching this develop and I'm posting this for your benefit and possibly for my sanity.

No, this isn't a love letter Rolling Eyes

I'm putting this here because I think you need help. Genuinely need help. It all seems to come down to one fundamental misunderstanding. You seem to think everyone has to get on with everyone else and in particular with you. After all, "what's not to like" as the saying goes. Sadly life isn't like that. One of the biggest lessons I had in my life was on the day I realised I didn't have to try to impress people, I didn't need everyone to say "that Al, what a great guy". I had it spelled out to me in very clear terms that I was staring at a short walk to the loony bin or a prison cell if I carried on with my almost manic desire to please, forever running around like a puppy seeking approval from my owners, the human race, all the time letting my failures build up like steam in an overstoked boiler. I was, to put it mildly, a manically laughing nutter who could be a right nasty little c Censored t when it all got too much, usually lashing out at those least deserving.

Stop trying to be the voice of moral reason - it just makes you come across as being an emotionally needy person. Stop trying to be everyone's mate. Accept that human beings can have a cr@ppy day and be in a grump. Understand that you're allowed to feel down from time to time and share it with those closest to you, not the faces on the screen in front of you. Internet forums aren't the best place to explore the boundaries of this particular pandora's box.

Over time people will learn to like you for who you are. If they don't you don't take it to heart. Hell, there are 60million people plus in this country and to expect to be loved by all of them is just wrong. Didn't stop Blair, but therein lies a lesson....

Switching from being offended by everything to being the creepy "best mate" everyone would rather weren't there in the space of a week is a bit of an insight. Think about it.

From what little I know of you, you've seen some shi77y stuff while in the forces, had a fairly pants time as a kid and don't like your job too much. Those are the things to work on, not getting virtual "friends" to accept you from across the ether.

Life's too short, as you've had the misfortune to see first hand. Let that be the starting point for coming to terms with things.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

What makes you think I didnt join Question

Anyway there is clearly an issue here.

I know lots of people that have seen there mates die including myself. Why do certain types have to ram this fact down others throats at every given opportunity and then tell everyone where they have been, and then expect sympathy. I am a cold b Censored d and don't dish out sympathy ever. You have a job, you do it, you get paid. Its Shiite Bow down you are respected for what you do there is no question there. This is a D3 site so 'pointless post' springs to mind Whistle Cut the attention seeking crap Thumbs Up

Not being flipant, never been in armed forces or seen the stuff some of you have. However, I assume that none of you are old enough for national service so you must have chosen to join any armed force Question Apart from a point of shared interest at your discretion WTF does it have to do with owning a D3 Question and why is it now being used as a vehicle to cause arguments...surely you want to keep that very personal stuff to yourselves or as ND said....professional help Question
