Hello Miguel

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you will be pleased with your purchase.

I don't know about replacing the broken switch, but you try sending a PM to The Large One. He works for Yeovil Land Rover and supplies discounted parts to forum members. He will tell you what's available

Welcome to the forum, nice choice having the V8. Do you mean the lever is broken on the switch or it just doesn't work.

If it is the switch, i am sure it is is quire simple and one of the guys can give you some instruction Thumbs Up

Just talked with the seller, i'll be getting my new (used) D3 next week!!!! He will change the lever before making the delivery.

Curious thing, though... i seem to be only the 2nd registered user from this part of the world.. ok i know we have little to none shopping power, but .. only 2 registered???!! Truth be said, i do see a lot of RRS, but D3 have only seen one here in my 60000 souls town.

Hope after my green and mean hulk machine goes offroading, more may follow!!!

Hi Lucio! Obrigado!

Won't we feel a bit alone in a "Portuguese/Brazilian" forum? Laughing We can always have a "pagode" and invite everyone over 8) 8)

Well my V8 D3 HSE finally is in my garage!!!

It was originally bought in December 2004, so it is one of the very first cars around..
I was happy to see thar the rear locking diferential is present, but there is no fridge to keep my beer cold :S

Some questions still need clarification, such as:

- I have the premium HK hi-fi.. but i only count 9 speakers and a subwoofer.. is it possible? I can't find nothing saying logic7 anywhere..
- The 6cd player doesn't load any cd ... is that a known issue? and is there an easy solution?
- Also.. having the premium hi-fi there is a phone button.. but pressed it only returns "no phone fitted".. do i have hands-free or is it not installed? The voice command let's me store names and numbers supposedly to a phonebook...
- Is there no way to get the windows to close when you lock your car?
-Beeing a HSE shouldn't it have rear A/C as standard?

Sorry for all the questions.. despite all these minor issues.. WHAT A GREAT DRIVE!!! Very Happy

Hi and welcome.

I have a June 05 HSE, so have not got the fridge in the cubby box, it doesn't have the phone kit installed and they is no a/c in the rear... I don't think these were standard on earlier models.

I've never had any problems loading cd's unless they have been scratched or copies (of my originals!) But you have to select the tray number before inserting (I think) I tend to listen more to the radio.

There is no way to close the windows when you lock the car.

may no splinters point your way

So it seems I haven't read all that i could Laughing ...

Well.. i guess the phone kit can be retrofitted.. I can buy a portable fridge and the front A/C is strong enough to keep the car cool and without any kid messing with it..

As to the "feeding" of the cd player.. that can be more troublesome.. i just can't put them inside.. seems something stuck.. i've tried giving it a go with a credit card.. but nothing happens!.. I'll take it to the stealer and see what they say!
