Tapa circuit / Drill free dash mounts |
|
Question to those who have used the tapa circuit.
Does this thing pick up an earth from the fuse board, or do you still have to find one?
As for the dash mounts I know someone posted a link to drill free dash mounts, but I am getting brain fade searching for it, can anyone find it/ remember who does them.
Thanks
Mike

To anyone who has used a Tapa circuit, where did you get your earth?
?Through this little jobby, or totally seperate to it ? from the fuse box / or otherwise?
Eh up where's? that warning triangle come from & what does it mean. Have I got 5 secs till autodestruct?
Edited: Sussed it Martin, you think of everything.

The Tapa Circuit only provides a fused live from the fuse box. You will still need a local earth or -ve to be correct. It is possible to create a drill free mount by creating an L shaped bracket that sits under the rubber mat where the Sat Nav screen sits on the posh models have a look at my gallery to see if that helps.
