Well done chaps!

Once again the forum has saved me hours wasted at the dealer trying to rectify a fault.

I went to use my front fog lights last week and they didn't work (blown fuse). I replaced the fuse and all was well for a few days then last night went to use them and the fuse had blown again.

Then I remembered reading something on here, did a search this morning and hey presto!

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic17274.html

Checked the offside wiring and sure enough, cable damaged. Checked the nearside and that was worn too so both sides now taped up and hopefully no more blown fuses and certainly no waiting around at the dealers.

What a great forum!

Had to repir mine yesterday - tried to us ethe front fogs on Friday night and they popped a fuse immediately, 10 minute job to resolve and most of that was spent in the fuse box Big Cry The spares fuses are all but impossible to get at but thankfully I had some spares in the garage.

Was going to leave it for the Stealer to sort out at the first service today - but had some spare time yesterday so just go on with it.

It was the offside that had rubbed through and shorted out - the nearside had no signs but got the preventative treatment regardless.

Thanks to all for making this so straightforward. Bow down
