Tailgate rear Window.

Question Has anybody seen, fitted thought about? someform of small spoiler deflector to reduce spray on to the rear window.
I was just pondering if two verticle bead type strips and a similar horizontal strip mounted above the upper brake light may reduce spray onto the glass area. Shocked

I've noticed that it gets really dirty quickly too.

It must be something to do with the wind creating vortices because of the wind above and air underneath the vehicle.

Surely this would have popped up in a windtunnel test or a computational fluid dynamics program?

but not a lot !

dirt is a problem of course but if its just spray then leave the window wiper alone... after a minute or two the glass stays clear as the water smoothes off. Weird I know but true... only works with water spray not muck of course.
