Hot Blackvue 500
Anyone had any issues? Just had mine fitted, hardwired and running full time; I know the temperatures are pretty exceptional at the moment, but I can't believe how hot the unit is.
My 400 is running all the time and it gets really hot I just leave the windows open a bit to get a cool breeze through the car to help in this weather... they are a good ice clearer in winter though

Many thanks, reassured and have plugged it back in.
That white flashing light on the front is a little obtrusive and noticeable. Sorted out with a square of duct tape

I've put the modded firmware on mine and it seems reasonable - I ran it for an hour and could hold it after turning off. It's only 28 degrees here today mind.
