New D3 :-) Day 1 Problem?? SatNav / Audio Displays
So, yesterday I picked up my new Bonatti Grey / Alpacca TDV6 HSE.
Wow! Fantastic! Sooooooooooooo much better than the V8 ES D2 it has replaced
No time yet to play with all the toys, but I have observed something that makes me think there might be a problem....
I have noticed (several times) that either or both of the SatNav screen and the radio display are sometimes ON whilst the car is locked up outside the house. But not all the time.
I am not yet able to fully charactise the issue, but I cannot think of any reason why either of these displays should be on whilst the car is locked up.
I know you can turn the radio on with the ignition on, but this was not the case - the radio was not on, but the display was just showing the time.
I have seen the SatNav display on (showing LR logo) either at the same time or a different time to the radio display.
Unlocking and locking the car, 'sometimes' turns the displays off.
Has anybody seen this behaviour? Or do I need to go back to the dealer after less than 20 miles?

what does the display show, whilst the car is locked? The LR logo?
This is normal, after unlocking the car the LR logo appears.
When you lock the car it might take a while before the diplay zutns out.
Same with rario display.

Whilst the car is locked the SatNav display sometimes shows the LR logo, sometimes it is off. Sometimes, it comes on after the car has been left for a while!

Probably nothing more to worry about than whether the light is still on in the fridge.

Mine has done this since I had the infotainment system upgraded. When I unlock the car, system wakes up and displays the LR LOGO. If I lock it again, it takes about 5 minutes to go away again. I don't think its a problem, just a feature.

OK - thanks for the feedback... I'll monitor (doh! bad pun) it for a while.
I really do not want to find fault..... Its a fantastic car. But it was a difficult decision to buy LR again as I had a terrible experience with a Series II and so I am a little nervous!
Anyway, the car is fab and IMHO there is nothing on the market to compare.
I'll relax a little now

Definitely a feature, but can be a bit random. You will also notice the handbrake dashboard light will stay on for a period as well. Don't worry, I left an inside light on overnight and the car knew to switch it off after a period of time to avoid battery drain so I wouldn't worry about the screenDisco 3 TDV6HSE Cairns blue auto
