Hi Stu,
I reconise that bit of track
You never seem to get the full impact of slopes on film but that piece of video leaves you in doubt about the risks.
Nice camera work

Cheers Nick
You're right, slopes that leave you sweating normally look really tame on film, but this came out really well.
The only downside to all this was not doing the co-drivers job properly, as I was concentrating on the filming - still, TFC seemed to manage Disco 5 HSE Lux

I remember this year I lost the brakes on a steep down hill section ( a chain had ripped a hose off)
I said to my co-driver "Steve we have no brakes".
Steve said " yeah righ ok what's the punch line?
when i repeated "Steve we have no brakes" in panic mode ( with one eye brow raised !) he knew I was no joking.
Happy days?
Regards

going but what do you reckon to a 5 year old (well will be by then) going to Tunisia. I guess no-ones taken their kids there yet? Is it not the done thing?
took Little 5 (11 years old) - he was fine but understands an 'adult' environment, 5 year olds will be high maintenance but won't suffer from the experience 8)

So the essential question is......
Whats the best wax for detailing afterwards There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
It's the comment about 5':30" in - "don't worry...I've got it all on camera..."
It's so encouraging to see that everyone cares about their fellow D3ers and puts the right level of emphasis on the correct priorities...just think, Stu, what we would have missed if you had put the camera down to go and lend a hand... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeksnearly 4 weeksover 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

I know I can throw caution to the wind sometimes, but THAT would have made me think twice. It's OK in your back yard, but in another country I wouldn't have been a happy bunny there..... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Nice to see the SNP giving all that money to the A rabs BTW 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Lets not go for political / nationalist point scoring mate. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
