Superb day out, only ended up £35 down between me and SWMBO. Wasn't betting much, just enough to make it fun.
Back to the filters....still waiting on a confirmed delivery day/stock levels.Welcome "Lola"

Righto chaps....this is the score.
Apprently there's only 12 in the country, I can get hold of 5 now which my latest supplier has in stock at £28.95 plus VAT which is a tad over £30.
Anyone who want's one posted, no probs, I can do that for standard parcel post at £4.95.
The rest of the order will take 6 weeks as unfortunately, they have to be made in the US and shipped over.
I'm just investigating whether I can order some directly from the US but I somehow doubt that I will make economic sense given that theygenerally ship a boatload over at a time.
Those of you who are still interested leave your names above, those not, remove and I'll get things going early next week when I've got an idea of final numbers.
Seems a lot of agg but I suppose it's a saving of £30
Best I can do at the moment guys.

Gary - I vote you distribute the current available units to the first 5 on the sign-up list (and apologies if this is stating the obvious ). Seems to be the fairest approach to me...?The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Will wait and see if and when I get a reply back from the US dealers I've contacted. Although they ship to UK I'm a bit concerned that we might get shafted with customs duty on a big consignment.
If I've not heard back by Monday, I'll post again and maybe just get the UK peeps to order us up 30 and we'll just have to wait.
Anyone who doesn't want to wait just take your name off the list.
Flipping nightmare this is Welcome "Lola"

JF Lux;
I would love to disagree with your suggestion (since I am one of the last ones on the list!), but fortunately I have to agree with you, as it wouldn't be fair to others that have committed themselves to it first 8)
I am happy to wait - honestly i am .
