1 Day and counting.....
Hi all, I am picking my D3 up tomorrow afternoon and I can't wait I've previously owned 2 Freelanders, a D1 300 TDi and a DII TD5 but this is the one I have always wanted. Hopefully I won't suffer too many of the gremlins talked about on the forum?
Hope to meet some of you next year on any trips you might be running, if you've not been yet, Langdale Quest in North Yorkshire is a great day out, non-damaging but good fun with mud aplenty and some deep water sections too.
Watch out for my posts once I collect her!!2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Finally after the great DII TD5 and the terrible DI 300 TDi, I picked her up
today. D3 TDV6 in Bonatti Grey with 19" alloys & privacy glass! To any
doubters of the D3, all I can say is "GO DRIVE ONE" it is the most luxurious
drive I have ever owned, this baby rides like an S-Class Merc.
You can safely say that even after only 25 miles I am well and truly
smitten.......................

A S-Class Merc? Surely don't hope so!

Hi Andy,
I still have to wait two more weeks before pikking up my new D3 TDV6 HSE, but I really hope it doesn't ride like a Merc! The clinical sterile feeling of a German car is one of the main reasons for trading in my BMW X5 for a D3. The X5 is a wonderfull car, but it has no soul nor a heart. Too Good? Maybe. Neverthless I hope to get back something of that feeling that makes driving a car more than getting from A to B.
Greetings
