enable the cruise control.
Hi pete. Im going to eastnor at the weekend, was just wondering if you are able to enable my cruise control? If so i will come and visit you. I have 06 base model but have added a few upgrades a new soft leather steering wheel being one. then thought it would be nice to have radio and cruise control on the wheel so got intouch with TLO and he supplied me with the buttons. All fitted now and looks great just need the cruise to work. Kind reguards Guy Lewis Herefordshire.D3 bonatti grey

Hi Pete,
I've had my remap for three weeks now and done quite a few miles on motorways, around town and on B roads.
Got to say that the most impressive part and the most important (to me anyway) is the ease at which you can overtake slow traffic on the B roads. The warm weather has brought out all the tintenters and tractors in the area where I live (North Yorkshire) so being able to overtake more easily and ultimately more safely is great. I know lots of forum members go on about fuel consumption and the extra MPG that can be achieved by having a remap, but I didn't buy it to improve my economy, and to be honest if I drive nice and steady or I'm on the motorway my mpg goes up by about 5 mpg. But generally I tend to take advantage of the extra power because it's more fun 8) Of course the mpg goes down, but it's not noticeably worse than when it was on the original factory setting.
permagrin just bigger

Exactly, every time mine went to dealer on normal setting it hurt, the D3 is alive when the remap is on "ENJOY" mode

WOW!
What a difference - gone from permagrin to turbogrin!
only downside is the pain suffered when reverting to normal mode to go into dealers. I keep intending to try out the original settings on a long run just to see the difference - best i have managed is 4 miles!
and the service from pete has been awesome - thanks pete.
