Iām going to procrastinate for a bit longer and continue to annoy everyone on here with my thoughts about it.
In the meantime Iāll enjoy the D4 which will be tripping over the 100K miles mark over the weekend.
A local dealer has a sub 50k miles D5 D300 MHEV R-Dynamic HSE in the same Blue as my D4 HSE Lux, and has offered me a great trade in price for the D4.
But despite the D5 growing on me slightly I just couldnāt bring myself to spend all that money on a car I canāt get any real enthusiasm for. Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

Thanks. Having experienced ACC in my Defender, I never want to use it again! It was awful!
Funny you should mention security, I've been thinking the same thing.

Just got a quote from Warranty Wise.
10 year old plan with starting mileage of 91000 and max claim of Ā£8000 with Ā£100 contribution.
Seems to cover everything I can think of and includes very good AA Recovery.
3 years = Ā£3168. Seems good so going to go with it.
It'll give some peace of mind. D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

Thats a hefty quote from warranty direct, no idea how good they are with claims since they were taken over, to think it was Ā£1500 for 3 years in 2019, renewal after that was Ā£2500 for 1 year. Going by your other thread, could be a good idea.
