Headlight upgrade

I’ve searched but didn’t find the definitive answer to this. If I fit an LED main beam type setup to my xenon headlights, will I still need to code the car to make them work? It’s an XS with halogen currently.

If you take the xenon bulbs out and replace the with LEDs you will NOT have to do anything to make them work!- hope that answers your question.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I've recently had a pair of Laser 750R Elite driving lights fitted into the grille of my 15-plate D4HSE. They're stunningly bright! IAt the same time I replaced the HID standard bulbs for the Osram 'Nightbreakers', but still have a pathetic low beam performance. The HID lights on my 64-plate FL2 Metro were much better than the D4!
Is there anything that can (legally) be done to improve the low beam 'candles' please?

So fitted the osram led h7s into the halogen headlights until I get the xenon’s coded. Wow is all I can say. Amazing output and perfect beam pattern.
