converting to a commercial vehicle
Good afternoon,
I was wondering about the modifications required to reclassify and whether it is a viable option if I don't use all of the 7 seats?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Not sure that it’s possible to officially convert to commercial from passenger type vehicle?
Not used vehicle to get the relevant tax rate for the commercial and go from an M1 to N1, pretty sure that is not possible.
Except insurance issues etc, cannot see any reason why you couldn’t fit the conversion kit from a commercial into your car?
I have in the past gone the other direction with two commercial D4’s.
Just insuring them as five seat vans.Discovery commercial tdv6 auto 2013
Volkswagen t6 lwb Kombi dsg 4motion 2018
Volkswagen t5.1 lwb single cab tipper 2013
Discovery commercial sdv6 auto 2014 gone and not really missed.
Range Rover Tdv8 gone
Freelander 2 I6 very sadly gone
VW t5 Dsg gone and missed

Ah right ok
I had hoped to build a modular base for camping in it and wondered if I could take advantage of the reduced tax incentives lol
Thanks for your input, I have heard of going from Commercial to domestic use.

I have a D4 Commercial and when you open the driver's door it has a special label on the B pillar frame. I seem to recall it is headed as Land Rover Specialist Vehicle and then identified as Commercial.
As said above, it seems highly unlikely you could recreate a commercial application.
