Newbie here looking to buy a disco 4
Good morning people, just registered to come say hello and hopefully get some great valued advice as I'm now needing a 7 seater. I've owned a fullfat range rover overfinch for the last 5 years and been an active member on the sister site fullfatrr for a number of years and had some great invaluable advice from there in keeping my fatty in tip top condition. But now it's time I had me a 7 seater and I want a discovery 4. For some strange reason, I can't let go of the green oval and betray it by buying jap crap so definitely having a disco 4.
So can anyone give me your valuable input in to what to look for when buying one please? Ideally I want the HSE (luxury of poss) well maintained with common faults sorted. I'm aware of the common issues with the intakes cracking, I had the same with the fatty too and also aware of the catastrophic engine failure due to the crank snapping and shell bearings letting go.
Had a look on the for sale on here and seen a great looking one added today for my price range and just what I'm looking for. Beautiful car indeed. However I need to sell my 2011 4.4tdv8 overfinch first. All advice much appreciated, thanks guys.
