Switzerland doesnât like caravans IMHO!- hope youâve done your homework, you have to pay the same annual road tax for a caravan as you do for a car even if you only cross the border for one day, but I must say we spent two weeks there on a caravan park beside Lake Geneva a few years back and it was one of the best holidays weâve had, good luck and enjoy.
p.s. when you go to Switzerland get stocked up with food particularly meat as it is/was very expensive, you never see a over weight Switz. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Have fun, we did it two years ago, across northern France, stopping in Switzerland, then down to lake Garda for two weeks, then back into France near Grenoble, then back up through central France
One thing I did notice was how bad the Italian motorway road surfaces were. Full of holes and bumps, worse than driving round Dudley
Coming back from Garda via Fejus tunnel it was odd to see satnav say âkeep straight on for 175 milesâ
I manage to get in a visit to Modena and marenello, very good đ
Have a great trip
