I've seen the 2 main diagnostic tools seem to be Gap IID or ICarSoft LR V3. I've gone for the Icarsoft. Is there any resources or guides that will help me on my way with the plethora of codes picked up by the unit? Any guidance would be massively appreciated.

I have both! the Icarsoft is a very competent tool and will give you the faultcodes etc and what they mean so will the internet, there are tons of info, videos this, that on the Icarsoft!....now if you wish to play a Pro mechanic then go for the Gap tool
