GAP IIDTool G3 or G4? what's the difference?

Hello!
I intend to purchase the diagnostic tool but i realized that there are two different versions, the G3 and the G4.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two?

didn't even know there was a G4 now Shocked

first BT model is a G2 and that would work on yours and there are 2 for sale at a Very good price at the mo

The G4 model fixes communication problems on certain ECUs on newer models of the D5, RRS, and Defenders etc which use DOIP communication protocol.
If you only want to use it on on a D3/D4 the G3 will be fine.
