Transmission Fault

2008 MY D3
2.7 Auto
I’ve got Transmission Fault popping up,
Code P0741-00
Torque convertor clutch solenoid
Circuit performance or stuck off

Accelerate away (on Slip road) as you get to around 70 the box changes up revs drop as you would expect, then a second or two later it feels like it kicks down and transmission fault comes up.

Accelerate gently get to around 70 revs counting gear changes it’s in 6th then revs drop slightly (TC Lock up?) to around 2000 lightly depress accelerator revs increase slightly no issue depress accelerator more and it feels like a full gear kick down, ease of and gears change back up no problems.

Now if I plug in my iid live values selected 1,TCC State and 2,Gear displayed I can boot it up the range to 70, box goes into 6th then TC goes to closed revs drop no faults drives perfect
Unplug iid and back to fault occurring

Why would it be ok with iid plugged in

Background had engine replaced end of last year while lump was out had a recon TC fitted, checked electrical connections had gearbox megaflush.
I thought Faulty TC but why is it ok with iid connected

The solonoid maybe at the rear of the gearbox.

Not too bad a job to change all the solonoids but it could be something else, like the TC not reacting to the request to lock up

Pete
My intial thoughts were TC as there was nothing wrong with box before engine swap and the TC has been changed.
BUT it runs faultless with iid plugged in so I know everything is working as it should at least with iid plugged in.

Why would the iid being connected make a difference

Are you sure that is the case? Have you run for many days with iid plugged in

A week now, today for 2 hours solid up the same piece of dual carridgeway,
Everytime the iid is connect it's perfect, un plug and as soon as you hit 70 plling hard it faults.

I'm completely stumped
