Dual battery setup instructions please

I want to add a few toys, light bar, spots extra 12v and usb outlets etc and although mechanically minded I want to make sure I get appropriate second battery and wiring setup correct. Does anyone have schematics, talk through of start to finish procedure for wiring. Thanks in advance.

The T-Max split charge system is good and allows you to monitor the battery and also link them if need be. I've fitted both T-Max and VSR and prefer the T-Max for the additional functionality.

You can fit a second battery on the near side in the tray in front of the brake servo and run cables through the bulkhead and along the sill to the rear of the car where you can fit auxiliary sockets and even an inverter if need be.

Anyway, search 'Split Charge'.

There are loads of posts. Here's. one:

A lot of info on 12 VoltPlanet. Thumbs Up

Check No3 VSR on this page, also has an accompanying video.
https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/split-charging.html
But loads more pages of info.

I went for the Durite VSR kit here:
https://simplysplitcharge.co.uk/Split-Char...cable.html

I installed: Optima YT 75ah battery, Durite VSR Relay kit, two USB sockets, two power sockets, volt gauge, along with roof Solar panel (for additional charging) and 600w pure sine wave inverter.
