I certainly am. How easy is it to fit yourself? Wanna shoot me a DM (if that's possible on here?)

Plenty of examples in that thread I linked to, of ppl fitting them with pics. It’s 3 wires. 2 to battery!
If you need to start your car is a hurry: worth getting a remote too though to be kind to engine.

Also Pete has quoted £78, but they're £120 + postage from the guy in Romania which is slightly less than I paid 12 months ago, his prices cheap up as the temp drops! Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Thanks for the recommendations, more than happy to change glow plugs on D3’s (and D4’s but they are far far less prone to failures).
For those of you that come across this thread and don’t already know me, I’m mobile and cover most of England, Wales and make occasional trips to Scotland as well (the Scottish trips tend to be to do CarPlay installs, rather than mechanical work/ repairs……if you’re north of the border drop Disco_Mikey a PM to discuss glow plugs )
If anybody wants pricing or more info please drop me a PM on here and I’ll be happy to help

Since you posted this, the price went up by £100 😂 I think I’ll survive this winter. It’s already down to -3°C here, and it *just* starts… reluctantly. I’ll fit one mid summer next year when they’re dirt cheap again.
Really appreciate the advice chaps 👍

£175 now
I don’t sell them. I’ve just taken an interest in monitoring his prices over previous winters, so I know the trends!
His prices also go up to help keep them in stock and give him time to build more.
I remember when they were about £55. Sold like hot cakes to d3 owners. As per that thread I linked.
There are many similar (and better) kits out there for £120-£300+
Better check out the resistor and button method then as you didn’t buy quickly.
Did you check the resistance of your gp yet?
