Hitachi or AMK air suspension compressor fitted? Help
Hello
Got a suspension fault which Ca120-64 (pressure in air reservoir filling too slowly). After a bit of research I have checked the compressor dryer and the blue and red push fit seals appear to be leaking (bubbling in soapy water spray).
No suspension height loss whilst parked.
Any idea whether the D4 2009 has an Hitachi or AMK compressor (it is the original part BTW). I am intending to buy a refurbish kit.
6h22 -19g525-ae part number
I got a couple of other faults , ABS module (invalid data from ride control module) and headlamp levelling (invalid data from abs module) Audio control module - lost communication with parking assist (seen this fault with the suspension issue on web before). I suspect these are all connected to the suspension issue?
Any help on brand appreciated.
Thanks

PS is DAB on the D4 poor for reception. Seems to be very few stations car capable of receiving. Was there a change from DAB to DAB plus some years ago?

Part number in the photo comes back as an Hitachi compressor. Red and blue air connectors suggest the same, leaking from their is a known issue, you can get replacement end caps for the dryer with metal figments or a replacement dryer pretty cheaply.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

The air will be leaking from the crack between the connections

The old dryer looks hexagonal. I guess it is circular o ring underneath?
Does that metal circle replace the hex dryer cap?
I've found a guide on YouTube. Removing the relay in engine fuse box useful before jacking up and jack stands.
I got this suspension alert fault 2 weeks before replacing all front suspension arms to complicate things. Vehicle is MUCH better. 2 mpg better too. Got 35mpg at 70mph with fullload in car, 6 passengers.
Alignment was important obviously.
The bushes front rear lower had tiny stress lines leaking hydraulic hydrobysh fluid.
Cheers
