Land rover Discovery 4 Instrument Cluster Failure Not Workin |
|
Looking for some help to diagnose the issue that has occurred.
I will try my best to explain..
The car in question is a discover 4 2014 hse.
All was well with the car no pervious issues at all. I drove the car to the shops today on a dry sunny day all was good was in the shop about 30 mins on returning to the car i went to drive home and the car started up as normal BUT i have a completely dead cluster no speedo or rev dials no screen nothing. But car starts and drives fine just no clue on what speed im doing or fuel i have nothing on the dials at all! The indicators all work fine but the arrows dont light on the dash.
If i turn on the side lights the cluster will light up and if i open a door with lights on it will ding and show me a warning triangle on the screen..
Also the climate control is on and all works BUT there is no blowers blowing i can turn it all the way up but no fans at all! The heated screens dont operate also they go to turn on then back of again immediately.
Everything els on the car works fine all the suspension goes up and down, the centre screen is all working the sat nav etc all good..
I will add when i got back home i was turning the car on and off on and off for about half an hour just messing about trying to figure out what was going on and it did all of a sudden come back to life and everything was working!! All the dials lcd the blowers come on and i thought oh its fixed and turned car off and on 2-3 times and was working every time.. until the next day and was back to not working again and i have been unable to get it to work again no matter how many times i turn it on and off and bash the dash in frustration!
What i have done is..
I have checked all the fuses all fine.
I have removed the cluster and sent of for repair thinking it was that but they come back to me saying its fine and sent it back i refitted it and still nothing.
Any help is really needed.. thank you 😩
