Well, i might have some old ones somewhere. But haven't been in uk since 2005. I made two joint type blanking plates out of somme copper guttering. We'll see how it goes.

If you have engine system fault message on dash then get a fault code reader
Eg autel ap200 in white.
I’m wondering if it’s the high pressure fuel pump.

I hope not!
This thing is doing my head in. Can't run more than half a year without a fault.
I managed to loose a blanking plate and two screws down in the engine, and can't seem to be able to remove the butterfly vane.

Leave the butterfly in for now. It only makes a minor difference.

I bent a screwdriver, it came out pish easy.
Problem solved. It was the passenger side EGR which was stuck. I discovered that mistakenly starting the engine with the tubes off.
Put everything back together. And it's sorted!
Thanks a lot to everybody.
While i have the belly pan open, i'll change the fuel filter too.

Well, further north, they might call it a pain in the bahookie!
Thankfully i can speak and write a smidge of english. This forum is a gem.
Without it, i would rely on Free forum 4x4, which is the best french one. But the wealth of knowledge about later LR products isn't there.

By the way, the trick to bend the screwdriver. If ever someones needs the info. Is to make it U shaped, not L shaped. With a radius of about a finger. It makes a nice lever to pry the butterfly arbor off.

It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
