[For Sale] Discovery 2 TD5
For sale my 2004 Discovery 2 Landmark TD5 Manual. I bought this 9 years ago as a standard vehicle, and set it up to be a very capable laning Discovery
I spent many happy days laning, enjoying some great trips with organised groups to Wales, Shropshire, Salisbury Plain, and the Peak District.
Serviced by myself using quality filters and oils. Chassis good, sprayed underneath yearly. Below is a list of most of the mods done and they made a great improvement. (All or any can be reversed).
Snorkel
Centre Diff Lock
De EGR De CAT
Cruise
H.D. Winch bumper
Winch
Tree sliders
Steering guard
Diff guards
Tank guard
NAS hitch
Wheel spacers
2" lift with HD springs and + 3" shocks
Extended brake hoses, ABS lines and Diff breathers
Buyer would have a choice of wheel tyre combination, GG ATs on 16s, Cooper STT MTs on 16s, or Pirelli Scorpions on 18 Hurricane's.
Paintwork has some bramble rash some of which will polish out, there is a "tick" when changing into fourth but can be driven to avoid this, and some of the headlining is starting to sag.
Selling as I have a D3 and several other vehicles, it's not being used, and I unfortunately haven't been laning since before Lockdown.
MOTd at the end of March, mileage 116,488 drove home and that's as far as it's been. Currently SORN. Battery permanently connected to Ctek battery conditioner. I start and run up to temperature monthly.
It's a great shame it's not being used, so have decided to see if it's of any interest to someone on here.
